Love niconicodouga or youtube videos but can’t find a good way to download them?

This is your solution. Craving Explorer.

Let’s go through on how to download/install/use it since it’s in Japanese and many of you might be unsure. I think it’s rather easy to install even if you have little knowledge on Japanese ^^;

Something I think I should say before I continue.

Important

Basically, you can download any videos but make sure you don’t do illegal stuff with them.

Large images again.

Go to http://www.crav-ing.com/download.html

You should see this page. Click the box I in the red square and download the installer.

Ignore the background or my files ^^;

Open the installer, this should appear. Click the next button which is obviously the (N) >

If you get funny fonts like squares or lots of weird stuff that means you don’t have Japanese fonts installed on your computer I think. Just follow the same setup I’m showing and it should work fine I guess.

Click the top one in the red box. then press next.

Not sure about this so I think you can leave it blank ^^; puroguramu guruppu o ?? shinai (D)  Not too sure what it means ^^;

The top one is confirmation for the desktop icon, the bottom one is the confirmation for the quick launch icon.

Tick what you want, blank what you don’t want and click next.

This is the goo explorer bar which comes together with the Craving Explorer. Do click it!! I forgot to click it orz. Click and go next.

This is the second last page ^^; Just click the install (I) button below.

Yay you’ve just installed Craving Explorer. Wasn’t that easy?

Now on how to use it.

Thank him if you get your account!

Once you get it, you can sign in to niconicodouga through Craving Explorer. You can also go to youtube.

Go to the page of your desired video.

Just a small part before teaching you how to download. As you can see, please click the icon in the red box on top. A small window will open up. In this window, you can see 9 different things in 2 columns on top of it. Click on the one I’m having, the extreme right of the bar with youtube at its left.

From here you can select the different type of formats you downloaded video can be.I chose the ipod, ipod touch/iphone and psp cause I view my videos while travelling out too ^^

Now how to download.

See the icon in the red box on top? Click it, and a list will appear. This is the format you want your video to be downloaded as. If you want to put it in your ipod, go ipod and chose mp4(ipod), the first one. Just chose the first one if you’re unsure for ipod touch,iphone or psp.

Now see the blank space in the red box below? The red box is mine and is for illustrating purpose only ^^; Hope it’s not confusing.

Once you chose the format you want your video to be, some stuff should appear below there. Take note that it’s the ダウンロード and not the other one you have. The video should download and they should display some %downloaded and time status. Wait till it’s finished.

For your downloaded videos, go my documents>Craving Explorer>downloads>the folder with the title of the format you downloaded in.

Something like that ^^; If the Craving Explorer folder is not in your my documents folder, try searching elsewhere like program files or something. I’m not sure if it will always install the downloads at. Hope it helped ^^
