Anime Figure Otaku

Ronery birthday

Filed under: Otaku

Delicious caek.

So what’s up on 24th October today? A day when 18 years ago this little otaku was born XD

As you can see, this otaku isn’t very sociable and doesn’t make much friends outside except from his class in school. Apart from that, he probably doesn’t know much people from outside.

Since I was born near halloween I thought I’ll get some pictures closely related ^^;

Was at home all alone today, so took the half eaten cake out and started taking pictures with a ronery otaku feel ^^;

Haven’t got to watch Shakugan no Shana S yet… This picture seems too dark @.@ Maybe I should ask for a DLSR as a present?

As you can obviously tell, this otaku spends his days thinking about 2D life and playing games while he is free, draws from time to time, attend conventions and so on. Though he does go out with his friends once in awhile, like every 4months or so…

The house’s light is reflected in the screen >,<

Time for some serious talk ;O

I was a little afraid of turning 18 few days before this. As I look back at myself 3 years ago, I didn’t have much to care about. I didn’t have to worry about my future and the other hardships of life, and just enjoyed playing, being an otaku and competing with friends in school.

Look at me now, I have been thinking about stuff like what do I want in the future, where will I be working, and bla bla… This is all part of growing up and everyone will encounter this. The answer will appear as time goes on but the process of thinking, planning and exploring is quite troublesome to endure.

One of my favourite picture I’ve had for a long time ^^

A friend of my recently told me in msn: You seem so happy all the time, I thought you were very stressed up with school and stuff?

Well, let’s put this in simple math equations - You = You

Everything that happens to you, gives you a different emotional reaction. If your girlfriend/boyfriend hugs you, you feel happy. If you get slapped by them instead, you get angry or sad. Many things happen all around us and makes us react to them.

Basically, you are the one controlling yourself. If you want to feel sad, you will. If you want to do something, you will. If you don’t, then you don’t.

Something I’ve learnt throughout 18 years on this planet is to control yourself so i won’t let anything take control of me instead. If something bad happens, you are the one who will decide what you will do. If you want to be happy despite something bad happen, you will. If you want to smile and forget about something that made you cry, you will.

Got this hadaka apron Konomi as a gift that came along with the October issue of Dengeki G’s magazine ^^ Perfect for celebrating XD

As long as you keep thinking of stuff that makes you happy, any problem that comes your way can be solved easily. People who know me will know that I keep watching comedy and always laugh wherever I go ^^:

Comedy animes are great, some blooper videos on youtube are also good for when you feel stressed.

I shouldn’t be talking about such stuff today ^^;

Q: What do you do when you are stressed/angry?

A: Go laugh at some comedy, do something I like such as playing games, eroge…

Q: What if you are really pissed off?

A: Sleep

Not sure why I feel like sharing this today, probably cause the new school semester started and a big group of wtf problems just assualted me. Not that they are really big though.

In short, live everyday of your life doing what you want and enjoy it.

Alright enough serious talk for now… Enjoy my hadaka apron gift.

Mum saw this few days ago and went: People buy male figures but you buy female ones, I scared you’ll turn into a pervert.

Me: Don’t need to be afraid, I won’t. I already am……

It’s quite hard for parents to accept otaku culture ^^; Though if I have a child of my own in future, I’ll probably share and support him/her with my otaku powers \^0^/

Don’t take life to seriously, unless you have something big and important to do. As any touhou fan will know, take it easy!

Yes I display will display this hadaka apron figure in the living room of my house.

Holidays are over!

Oh noes D:

This picture pretty much explains what’s about to happen. Erica is happy that a lazy slob like me is going back to a healthy routine at school. But looking at her smile, how can I refuse hahaha…

Computer programming is new to me so I’ll probably have fun during the class ^^ Lots of new stuff in this semester too, French and Japanese as well as a special course [SPROJ1] on Friday too…

Earliest class starts at 8am and the latest time I go home is 7pm…… Since I take about 2hours to travel to school that means I have to wake up at 6am on tuesday and reach home at 9pm on Thursday… OHWHATTHEMORESLEEPLESSNIGHTS

Have completed a considerable amount of anime on my list, up to date with the current season. All that’s left is a couple of summer 09 animes. Only have Bakemonogatari to finish up before Sunday arrives…

Maybe I can communicate with Perrine better after I get better at French ^^; Already taking Japanese outside so will probably be able to ease through lessons! Hope the other subjects this semester are simple too… Somehow I feel like I shouldn’t have applied for SPROJ1…

This semester’s schedule is quite evenly spaced out, so everyday’s somewhat similar except Tuesday and Thursday. Of course, I’m going to work hard when school starts! There’s much much more besides school that’s going to happen too, AFA09, EoY, Christmas bla bla. Not sure how I can continue my otaku related activities with this tiring schedule ^^;

Hope that all of you out there continue working hard too!

Fall 09

Filed under: Anime

Hello minna~ Genki?

Lately my routines have been wake up/anime/eat/anime/sleep and repeating it seriously ^^;

School starts in a week and I have quite a bunch of anime to catch up so… Only 1 week left till the 3hours of to and fro from school returns……

I’ve been neglecting a lot of things including posting here so I thought I’ll post up the list of what I’m catching this fall ^^

Before we go on… lots of big pictures ahead ^^;

This post is full of images!!

What a big list it is, though you usually cut off the shows at the bottom… I have about 17 shows I’m planning to watch here.

Let’s start with The Sacred Blacksmith

Saw a PV of it and thought that the animation looked quite good, went on with the first episode and liked it. I like shows set in medieval times too ^^ The picture above has much more ero than the anime for now though……

It’s about a young girl who inherits her family sword and sworn to be a knight to protect others though she doesn’t have any battle experience at all.

The PV on youtube - http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=rPZ1aj08x2c&fmt=18

The Sacred Blacksmith originally started off as a light novel and has 7 volumes out already, along with 2 volumes of its manga.

Official web - http://www.blasmi.com/index.html

New anime by CLAMP called Kobato, she looks so moe in the picture ><

Kobato is a mysterious girl on a mission to fill a bottle with suffering from other people’s hearts so that her wish to go to a certain place will be granted.

Sounds quite odd since I don’t even know if she’s human or not after watching one episode ^^; It’s a nice show filled with some comedy, and animation is nice too.

Amazingly, as soon as I reach this part the online radio started playing an ending song from cardcaptor sakura, which is also made by CLAMP ^^

Nyan Koi!

One of my favourite shows this season ^^; Comedy show which shows how Junpei, who is allergic to cats, has to help solve 100 requests from cats or he’ll turn into one as he accidentally broke the statue of a cat deity. As well as how his relationship progresses with his crush, Kaede. The girl above ^

The Op and Ed of this anime is really nice, and the same studio who did Asu no Yoichi is also working on this anime!

Delicious twin lolis are loaded in this show too!

11 eyes

This show kind of frightened me ^^; Despite having so many bishoujos in the anime it actually has quite a dark plot… Another example of eroge turn anime.

I don’t really understand the anime since episode 1 doesn’t really tell much so if you like the illustration above then go catch the anime. I’m only watching because of the girl in red hair above ^^;; I think it might be a nice anime as the show goes on though.

Kampfer

Oh noes this show!!! Either you hate guy turning into girl shows or you watch it. It has some share of ero-comedy in it and a rather odd story plot where kampfers must be girls and they have to fight each other.

Similar to The Sacred Blacksmith, this started off as a light novel, then manga and anime. Not sure why the producers don’t make an anime of it straight away, maybe they write light novels and those higher up pick the nice ones to produce them into animes?

As you can see the with the 4 people on the right, they have a different look and personality after transforming. I like this show probably because I wish I was a girl instead ^^;;; Would be fun to do this and that to myself……

Me is liking Akane in red hair ^o^

Seitokai no Ichizon

Also started off as a light novel… Maybe I should get around to reading light novels soon? A good way to improve my Japanese too ^^

I would call it a pure comedy anime I guess… Revolves around the daily life of the 5 members in the school council… with a little twist which is the 5th member being a boy and claiming the council to be his harem…

The style reminds me of Akane Iro though…

Also a rather fanservice-y show as you can see. Want moar?

Tatakau Shisho - The book of Bantorra

What a long title @_@  Went on to see this show because the plot sounds quite interesting and the cg looks good. Turns out that its quite a dark themed anime which has quite a lot of death and fighting involved… I don’t really like such shows but not too sure myself why I want to watch more of this anime ^^; Maybe because of the craziness that one of their character has ^^

This show is quite hard to explain so behold copy/paste - In a world where dead people turn into books and are stored in the Bantorra Library where anyone who reads a book can learn their past. Bantorra Library is maintained by Armed Librarians who wield psychic powers and their enemy is a religious society known as Sindeki Kyoudan.

The show ended off quite bloody towards the end of episode 2 where……

It has 9 light novels out and started off in 2005. I think I should go into light novels soon… You can go to their url and check out their gallery - http://www.bantorra.com/

Tegami Bachi

Never noticed this but the manga was out for a long time already - http://www.onemanga.com/Tegami_Bachi/

Don’t have much what to say about this anime, probably one of the few animes where they have someone below 13 as the main character… Quite unique style though, the show might be better as it continues.

Wiki where they explain almost everything in detail - http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Tegami_Bachi

http://www.tegamibachi.com/

I want to smack you with a frozen tuna if you do not watch this D:

Other shows in fall include…

Shin Koihime Musou
Nogizaka no Himitsu
Darker than Black

where I have yet to watch season 1 of those animes…

Also not forgetting animes in summer 09 since school was really eating up my time like…

spice and wolf 2
fight ippatsu juuden chan
Bakemonogatari
Taishou Yakyuu Musume
Sora no Manimani
Needless
Kanamemo
Geigutsuka Art Design Class
Princess Lover

I’m really gonna spoil my eyes after watching all of them…
